About three weeks after Tuface Idibia’s surprise engagement to his
long-time lover, Annie Macaulay; and the shocking wedding, last weekend,
of Branama crooner, Kefee, two other Nigerian celebrities; comedian and
television show host, Teju Babyface; and rapper, 2shotz, have also
decided to quit bachelorhood. Babyface, who lost his father January
31st, 2011, proposed to his model lover and winner of the 2010 Lagos
Carnival Beauty Pageant, Tobi Banjoko, on Valentine’s Day at the
Southern Sun Hotel, Ikoyi, Lagos. Sources close to the Insurance
graduate of the University of Lagos say he is committed to getting
married this year. Babyface’s fiancĂ©e is an undergraduate at the Lagos
State University. She represented Ondo State at the 2011 Most Beautiful
Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) beauty pageant, where she emerged Miss
Photogenic.
2shotz,
on the other hand, has reportedly met with the families of his
bride-to-be, Georgina Apaemi, a graduate of University of Port Harcourt,
and plans might have been concluded to have the nuptials in the second
quarter of the year, a source tells E-Punch. Prior to this recent
engagement, 2shotz enjoyed a whirlwind romance with leggy model, Beverly
Osu, with whom he was reportedly engaged late last year. Both have
